Intelligent Futures Story
Intelligent Futures is a 501(c)(3) research and innovation nonprofit dedicated to strengthening education and workforce systems in response to AI and other emerging technologies. We conduct applied research and develop scalable training and institutional models that prepare students (K-22), healthcare professionals, educators, and working adults to succeed in technology-enabled environments.
As artificial intelligence, digital systems, and automation rapidly transform education, healthcare training, and workforce expectations across industries, many institutions lack clear competency frameworks, evidence-based training models, strong alignment with labor market needs, and scalable implementation strategies.
Our History
Without coordinated, research-driven solutions, workforce gaps and inequities will continue to widen. Intelligent Futures addresses this challenge through a structured model: Research, Design, Pilot, Evaluate, and Scale; identifying critical skill gaps, developing practical credential and training systems, implementing solutions with institutional partners, measuring outcomes, and expanding proven models across regions.
Our work focuses on AI and other emerging technology readiness, workforce upskilling and career mobility, education-to-workforce pathways, healthcare education modernization, and competency-based credential systems. We deliver applied research, implementation frameworks, workforce-aligned training models, validated micro-credentials, and policy guidance in collaboration with; education agencies, colleges and universities, healthcare education institutions, workforce boards, employers, and federal and foundation partners. By combining research, implementation, and evaluation, Intelligent Futures ensures that technological transformation strengthens economic mobility and institutional resilience.
